韩国的校园足球联赛体系充满活力，不仅有众多学校参与足球运动，更是通过覆盖广泛年龄层和地域的青少年赛事，为年轻球员营造了丰富的成长空间。韩国校园足球形成的金字塔结构，涵盖了从幼年（小学阶段）、初中、高中到大学的完整联赛体系，使得每位加入联赛的青少年每周都有机会参与正式比赛。

自2009年起，韩国设立了全国小学、初中、高中的足球联赛，分为U12、U15和U18三个年龄组，注册俱乐部数量达774家。小学阶段（38个地区）、初中阶段（25个地区）、高中阶段（17个地区）的地区预选赛每年在上半年进行，表现出色的球队将在11月参加“王中王”锦标赛，角逐全国冠军。参赛球队总数自2009年的576支增加至现今的1000支以上。

从2024年开始，韩国K1和K2职业俱乐部的青少年梯队将实施主客场制的周末比赛，青年组则细分为U14和U15，年轻球员需要适应职业联赛的节奏和强度。

此外，韩国的全国小学初中高中足球联赛设有春秋两个赛季，特别针对U15的初中球队进行细分，共有三个年龄组。自2013年起创办的I联赛，设立了U6、U8、U10、U12、U15以及U18共六个年龄组。U6-U10采用5人制比赛，上下半场各10分钟；U12为8人制，每半场15分钟；U15和U18则采用11人制，上下半场各20分钟。2024年I联赛预计将有3700支青少年球队参与，参赛球员数量超过3.3万。

韩国还承办了多项历史悠久的青少年赛事，包括金锡杯、青龙旗杯、金刚大旗杯等，决赛场地遍布全国，致力于缩小各地区青少年足球发展的差距。此外，韩国每年举行全国青少年体育大会，涉及36个项目，其中也包括足球。

为了改善青少年球员的比赛环境，自2002年世界杯后，韩国足协与地方政府共建了超过2000个公共足球场和1000多个学校足球场。韩国的公共足球场数量已经从627个增加到2800多个，而学校足球场也从173个增至接近2000个。尽管如此，韩国全国小学、初中、高中足球联赛的注册俱乐部数量仍不足800个，参赛学校仅占全国学校总数的10%。因此，韩国足协推出了“2030青年”计划，旨在增加青少年球员的数量和提高其整体水平。
